BME HE User Group – Reading 18-19 May 2017

One of the highlights of this event was the Thames River Dinner Cruise on the evening before the event. Even though the weather didn’t quite play along, the 40 people enjoyed the cruise thoroughly. Great views of the Berkshire Downs and a wonderful opportunity to network with other HE business intelligence specialists.

The standard of the presentations delivered by universities was excellent, maybe the best ever. The afternoon break out technical sessions will almost certainly be a permanent fixture at future user days. This event, run every six months, is a superb way of sharing ideas, expertise and tips between universities that have implemented and continue to develop Qlik. The nine presentations session delivered on the day are listed below. All of the presentations are available on the BME HE Forum.

Sharing of dashboards, implementation methodology and best practice, together with the networking opportunity these events provide are still seen as the main reason for attendance. The overall consensus, over 80% of attendees, was that the May 2018 should be held in Barcelona… watch this space.
